A Warrior’s Quiet Meal

As part of this collective exhibition featuring photographers from the La Chapelle neighborhood in Paris (February 8 – April 5, 2025), Tristan pays tribute to the bars and restaurants of La Chapelle through his series A Warrior’s Quiet Meal.

His staged photographs capture chefs and restaurant owners, sitting alone at a table or behind the counter, in those suspended moments where they take the time to eat. A symbolic pause—somewhere between introspection and necessity—just before or after the storm of service.
